I am enjoying the thought of making my Polka Dot Girls quilt.
I am starting with the embroideries first.
I have a stash of floss that I found at a market sale but the shades are not those listed on the instructions.
Do you think that it matters what shades of pink or blue are used ?

HI - welcome! As long as you like the colours you found and you can get fabrics to go with the colours - use you own preferences. I used fabrics in purples, aqua and green and my embroideries used all sorts of colours - nothing like the original. And sorry I havent asdded a photo of mine yet - this will prompt me to get onto it!
Use the colours that you like.

I went through all of my threads and will buy the ones I haven't got near colors for. I have lots of fabrics put away too.
I am making two other quilts during the day so the embroidery is for while I watch television.
